As the saying goes…all beginnings come from some other beginning’s end.
When I started this business, I thought I knew a good bit about what all it would entail, but I had no idea. So I launched onto my journey of starts and restarts–learning as I went. And, in the spirit of all things DIY, I attempted to migrate my website from one hosting company to another without realizing that it had to be live for me to do so. Turns out I effectively lost all the content and media of my site in the process.
But as I said, new beginnings. So here I am, spending my Sunday rebuilding, rewriting, and relaunching. I hope you’ll excuse the construction around here while I attempt to fix things.
The most surprising part of all of this has been my response, though. Am I frustrated? Sure, who wouldn’t be? But I’m choosing to see this as an opportunity. A chance to begin again, to uplevel, to make this website the hub of information and love I want it to be.
In the not so distant past, I would have felt defeated, angry, and upset. I may even have started to question whether I was on the right path. And if I had decided to rework the website, I would have pushed it off to another day rather than jumping right in. That was the old Jessica–the one who struggled with her self worth, who constantly questioned herself and her decisions, who let small things get her down. I’m so grateful to have moved past that version of myself.
You see, a few years ago, I unknowingly stumbled onto a personal development journey of my very own. For the first few weeks, I didn’t even notice the positive changes taking place in my life, and if I did, I thought they were coincidences, nothing to take seriously. But as my mindset began to change, I realized that if I became active on this journey, these changes could become not only real but also lasting. So I did.
And as I worked through my inner issues, I learned to heal myself. I discovered the woman hidden beneath layers of societal conditioning and expectations. I redefined my vision for my life, and I leaned into my spirituality in a whole new way. In short, everything changed for the better. I’m enjoying my best life, and one of the greatest parts of it is this business. I get to coach women just like me, helping transform their lives from overwhelmed and unfulfilled to purposeful and passionate about their goals and desires!
